Call of the Day

This came from a cash game earlier today. I made a hell of a read and an even more gutsy call. This is for all my stack should I lose.

Seat 2: klotzy9 ($44.70)
Seat 3: Bender2006 ($27.70)
Seat 4: repoker39 ($38.35)
Seat 6: Scott B 077 ($29.20)
Bender2006 posts the small blind of $0.50
repoker39 posts the big blind of $1
The button is in seat #2
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Bender2006 [9s 8s] (A suited connector hand)
Scott B 077 raises to $2
klotzy9 raises to $3
Bender2006 calls $2.50(I probably should have folded here, but I cold call 2 bets anyway)
repoker39 folds
Scott B 077 raises to $29.20, and is all in

Lets think about the situation here. I think Scott is a loosy goosey type player. There are several hands under AA he may have done an all in with. He may have done it on 3's, Ax, Kxs, Maybe even QT, QJ. I think I'm getting good equity. I can make a lot of possiblities here. Fuck it lets rumble.

klotzy9 folds
Bender2006 calls $24.70, and is all in
Scott B 077 shows [Ah 4h] ( I was right!!! He didn't have but Ax suited. However I still have to hit my hand in order to win)
Bender2006 shows [9s 8s]
Uncalled bet of $1.50 returned to Scott B 077
*** FLOP *** [6d Kh 8c] (There it is, now he's only 14% to win)
*** TURN *** [6d Kh 8c] [Jd] (7%)
*** RIVER *** [6d Kh 8c Jd] [5h] (Pass the sugar)
Scott B 077 shows Ace King high
Bender2006 shows a pair of Eights
Bender2006 wins the pot ($57.40) with a pair of Eights
repoker39: nh
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $59.40 Rake $2
Board: [6d Kh 8c Jd 5h]
Seat 2: klotzy9 (button) folded before the Flop
Seat 3: Bender2006 (small blind) showed [9s 8s] and won ($57.40) with a pair of Eights
Seat 4: repoker39 (big blind) folded before the Flop
Seat 6: Scott B 077 showed [Ah 4h] and lost with Ace King high

Okay that was a very Gus Hansen like call there with 9-8 suited, but I gambled there, made a decent read. Both Skill and Luck were on my side there, though I imagine the luck was like 75% or so. Analyize your opponent and don't be afraid to gamble it up.
